There are three Large Capital Projects on the ballot for Ainslie Wood:

Prince Philip School Recreation Centre
Provide
additional funds for recreation facilities at Prince Philip School. as part of
the Alexander Park Master Plan development. This idea is the amalgamation of 11
submissions to add various recreational facilities for seniors and children at
the school as part of a Senior and Recreation Centre.
#7. Alexander Park Redevelopment
Set aside funding for the
implementation of the Alexander Park Master Plan, scheduled for 2017. This idea
is the amalgamation of 8 individual submissions to flow into the discussions
during the Master Plan development, including community garden, benches, picnic
table, natural playground, splash pad, skate board rink, bicycle/scooter path
for children, tennis court, basketball court, shade and weather protection
structures, toilets, exercise stations, small dog park.
#23. Purchase 161 Rifle Range Road for Alexander
Park Redevelopment
Set aside funds for the purchase
of 161 Rifle Range Road to be included in the Alexander Park Master Plan.
